We booked Robins Nest for our week in Northern Ireland because it had good reviews and was reasonably priced.

The Robins Nest is a three bedroom mobile home. It is situated in Ballyhornan in Northern Ireland in it’s own locked area next to the owners mechanics yard. We were provided a key to the gate so we could lock our car inside.

There are two bedrooms with 2 single beds and one bedroom with 1 double bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen and large living space as well as a shower room with toilet.

Bedding and towels were provided and there was also a range of things available in the kitchen so it is worth checking before you go what you need to take.

There is an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, TV/DVD player with plenty of DVDs and some puzzle books and children’s toys.

There is plenty of outside seating which is surrounded with fencing to have total privacy and even a BBQ if needed.

The mobile home is in a quiet out of the way area within a 15 minute walk to Ballyhornan beach. There are shops and restaurants/takeaways available just down the road in Ardglass and we even had a chinese delivered to the caravan.

We used this caravan as a base for exploring Northern Ireland by car and it was great for what we needed it for.
