We needed a place to stay this weekend for a wedding in Somerset. I just happened to stumble across Endeavour Short Breaks on airbnb and messaged the owner about our trip. I am so pleased that I did. Not only was it perfect for us but it was also more than worthy of telling you about!

Endeavour is based in Somerton, Somerset. Used during the week to provide short breaks for people with learning disabilities, Endeavour to achieve is a respite, independent living project for individuals, small groups and families with members with learning disabilities and autism. The project gives them the opportunity to learn independence skills in a homely environment.
This not only makes it a perfect home from home to take autistic children to, but also means it is far better equipped than any other airbnb we have stayed in.

The house has four comfortable bedrooms – two double rooms, one twin room and one single room. There is a shower room and bathroom upstairs and an additional downstairs toilet.

The large lounge area is perfect for families. There are an abundance of games and toys and a TV and DVD player with vast amounts of DVDs to choose from. There is a second TV set up with a games console, again with a good choice of games.

There is a utility area with washer and dryer and an incredibly equipped kitchen with tons of space. The kitchen opens into the back garden which is a lovely area to relax with a large picnic bench, swing sofa and BBQ.

There are so many things you may need in the house making it a perfect home from home. On their website is a list of everything provided so you can check before you go what you need to take with you.
Endeavour is a training house with a great kitchen that is well stocked. We were provided with Tea, coffee, Hot chocolate, sugar , 4pt milk, squash, fresh fruit, biscuits, cereals, Bread, spread, jam, fresh eggs and beans.

Would we return to Endeavour? Yes 100% This house has been great for our family.
