Teen Calm is a subscription box for teenagers aimed at showing them they are not alone. The box is aimed at encouraging self-care, lifting spirits and building confidence, and the box we were sent did exactly that. I was so impressed by this box as a whole. The positive message it gives whilst providing a pick me up for teens is fantastic!
On opening the box we were greeted with beautiful and appealing packaging. It felt just like opening a present!
So what was in our box?
A book called How to be mindful by Anna Barnes: This book is great, aimed at teens and includes tips, statements and activities for practicing mindfulness.
Slippers: Super cute fluffy animal slippers to be exact.
A bath bomb: what better way to relax than chilling out in the bath with a great bath bomb. The smell of this one was approved by my 16 year old daughter straight away and it was used within an hour of the box arriving at our house!
Crystal metallic effect putty: A great stress relief toy.
Awsome Avocado face mask: again perfect for pampering and relaxing.
A little roll of pretty tape: A cute little gift which my daughter liked.
Sweets: Really you can’t go wrong with sweets and the heart theme went well with the overall box theme.
Affirmation cards: Cards with a teen friendly, affirming and positive message – a great addition to the box.
The box we were sent was jam-packed with helpful gifts, stress-reducing toys, and relaxation-inducing goodies.
The first words you see when you visit the Teen Calm website are “Conquering anxiety and isolation –one month at a time” and this perfectly sums up this box. The box is perfect for teens of all ages, especially at the moment with Covid-19 causing more isolation and anxiety in teens than usual. Me and my 16 year old daughter were so impressed by the box that I have bought more for her!
Teen Calm box for autistic teens?
Yes, Yes and Yes! This box is brilliant for autistic teens and teens with anxiety. There is a great mix of sensory and calming, relaxing gifts alongside a boost for your teens self esteem and confidence. It’s a perfect pick me up!
Teen Calm was the brainchild of the creators now 15 year old daughter who is autistic. She is co-founder and joint shareholder and doing a fantastic job providing a great product for other autistic teens we think!
