Hoseasons Saltmarshe Castle Holiday Park, Bromyard, UK

Last weekend we went to Saltmarshe Castle holiday park for a weekend away with some of our family. The site itself seemed to be mostly owned caravans, with a few caravans to rent for holidays. These are let through Hoseasons.

Here is my daughter giving a tour of our caravan:

On our first night we went out for an adventure in the dark to find the play park:

Saltmarshe castle park is a very peaceful site, it has a small children’s play area, short forest trails, a bar and clubhouse. There is also a shop in a shed which only seemed to be open a couple of hours a day and never when we went.

The setting is lovely, amongst beautiful scenery, with the occasional bit of castle or cannon dotted around. We had a lovely relaxing weekend.

On our second day we went for a walk on one of the forest trails:

There is a small games room with a few arcade games, air hockey and pool table:

It is not a site to go to if you want constant entertainment or lots going on but for a peaceful, chilled weekend it is nice. This also makes it a good base if you are with autistic children.

Hoseasons Saltmarshe Castle is located two and a half miles north of Bromyard in the UK. Saltmarshe Castle Park is set in the grounds of the old Saltmarshe Castle, country house built in 1895. The house is long gone but parts of the outer walls and turrets are still there.

  1. My parents recently bought an RV and we use it year round since they live out of state. I love going to different parks and meeting all the people.
