See the world through my eyes – a new video by Autism Kids On Tour

This little video is my way of trying to raise some awareness of Sensory Processing. It is inspired by this post.

The words on the video read:

Try to see the world through my eyes.

See what I see. The people. The colours. The faces I can’t read. The details, The unexplained changes. There is too much for my eyes to see.

Try to hear through my ears, the ways I hear things. There are so many sounds that are hurting me.

The lights. The birds. The pens. The chairs. Everything at once, so loud you see.

See the world through my eyes. Know how confusing it can be.

Listen to my silent voice.

Give me tools to help myself.

Be aware, and try to see the world the way I see.
