A letter to a teacher from an Autistic child

This video is a thought provoking letter written from the perspective of an Autistic child. It sums up my sons feelings of some issues when he was in primary school. I think a lot of people will be able to relate!

  1. Wow! That made me cry! It can be so hard sometimes for teachers and many other adults really to be aware enough to make the conscious decision to be patient. I admit sometimes I can yell without realizing it bothers my son. We all say and do things before we think but the more teachers we have in the classroom who are trained well with children of all abilities, the better environment it will be for our children to learn and thrive. This was heartbreaking to know your son had to endure this for so many years. I’m so glad he is in a better place now. #LGRTStumble
