At £35 a night you can’t really go wrong! The Travelodge Newcastle Central has a convenient car park beneath it with direct access to the hotel. The car park is reduced for hotel guests.
The reception is manned 24 hours and check in was quick and easy.
The room itself was what you would expect from a travelodge with a comfy king size bed, large desk, TV, Tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of space.
The bathroom was clean and soap and shower gel was provided in dispensers.
The hotel has a restaurant and nice looking bar. It is also conveniently located next door to Aneesa’s Buffet Restaurant, if you prefer not to eat in the hotel.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are decently sized, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location if you are visiting Newcastle. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this great value hotel next time I am in the area!

Our bathroom had a shower and not a bath.
