We were in need of breakfast and literally stumbled upon this cafe as it was opposite the main car park in Llangollen, the closest place to where we were staying.
We went inside and it was fairly busy but fortunately they had more seating upstairs where it was far less busy with some comfier chairs.
We were served very quickly and ordered drinks and breakfast. The drinks came first and the breakfast shortly afterwards. I ordered toasted tea cakes which were really nice.
My daughter had a bacon sandwich and my son had toast topped with beans, bacon and egg. They were both really nice.
We paid downstairs and noticed that there were a variety of cakes for sale.
If you are ever in Llangollen and you want a nice breakfast, I would recommend The Buttered Crust.
Taking an Autistic child to The Buttered Crust for breakfast?
It was quite packed and busy downstairs but more spacious and quiet upstairs.
Upstairs is naturally lit with many windows.
There are toilets available.
Staff are friendly and accommodated our request of adding beans to a menu item without question.
The Buttered Crust is in Llangollen in Wales.

Such a charming place which offers delightful food. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit this place when in Wales. Are there any good desserts?
I didnt try them, but the cakes looked yummy!
