We have driven past Black Angus Steakhouse a few times and pointed out the life size cowboy outside. This time we thought we would give it a try.
We were greeted with a smile and our very friendly waitress seated us straight away.
The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. We were sat in a comfy booth. There were a few TV’s showing sport but these were not imposing at all.
Our drink orders were taken and we set to work looking at the menu. I chose the salmon. I was amused by the amount of choice that came with it as the waitress cheerfully asked me if I wanted soup or salad, vegetables or potato. I chose salad and potato. Did I want house salad or caesar salad? I chose caesar, which turned out to be a good choice. It amused me that I couldn’t choose vegetables and potato but I was happy with my decision.
I ordered some shrimp on the side because I wanted to try it. I ended up with a lot of food! It was very nice food though!
My daughter had a chicken burger, my son a cheeseburger and their friend chose a hot dog off the kids menu. Everyone liked their food.
We were also given hot bread rolls and butter while we were waiting for our food.
Even though we had to ask for a box to put some of our leftovers in as we were so full, the kids seemed to have saved a little bit of room for a huge chocolate volcano! The lovely waitress managed to convince them they only needed one between them because although delicious it is very sickly! She was right!
We posed for pictures on the way out, all of us having thoroughly enjoyed our food and experience!
Taking a child with an ASD to Black Angus Steakhouse?
The restaurant is relaxed and servers are very friendly.
There is no loud background music.
The waitress gave enough time and patience to my son when ordering his food.
Some menu items come with a lot of choice meaning a lot of decision making.
