The Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover

The Transit Authority People Mover in Tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, Orlando is not the most sought after ride but it is a ride you can almost walk onto as the queue moves so fast. It is also a great ride for views of Tomorrowland and to experience some things you wouldn’t normally get to experience.

The ride is a never ending tram that doesn’t often stop so you board from a moving walkway. This means that the queue is constantly moving and you won’t be waiting long before you board. The ride itself takes about ten minutes.

The tram is elevated and goes round most of Tomorrowland with a commentary telling you what you are seeing.

You get views of all your favourite tomorrowland rides and also the castle!

You go over the track of the Tomorrowland Speedway, through the gift shop and through Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, even seeing secret scenes you can see from the ride.

Probably the most exciting bit of the journey is when you travel through space mountain! It goes very dark and you catch glimpses of the roller coaster as it zooms around you!

The ride is gentle but accelerates occasionally which makes it fun and it is a great way to kill some time between fast passes!

Taking a child with an ASD on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover?

The ride doesn’t have seat belts.

The ride isn’t too loud.

It is essentially a tram tour in the air.

It goes very dark through space mountain with sounds of the rollercoaster and possibly people screaming.

The tram journey is a nice way to cool down on a hot day as it is open and breezy.

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover entrance can be found opposite the Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland, Magic Kingdom, Orlando.

This is one of our favorites! When the kids were little and the parks were not crowded we would take them on and they would nap for 4-5 times in a row we would ride it.
