Tonight I took three things (!) to the Cirque Magique Dinner Show. The Cirque Magique is the most recent dinner show at Pirate’s Town near International Drive. It is a two hour, fast moving, high energy show with magic, circus acts and hilarious clowns!
The show actually surpassed my expectations. We saw impressive jugglers, amazing acrobats and an impressive magician!
Mingling with the other acts and also with acts of their own were the clowns – Chuckles, Giggles and Snickers. These clowns were hilarious and brilliant characters who really made the show for us and made us laugh out loud throughout.
The highlight for my kids was Ana Jacks act with her performing poodles! These four delightful pups could jump through hoops, walk on their hands and hind legs, dance and do tricks.
We also loved the balloon act where the clown blew up a giant balloon and got inside!
We loved the magic tricks, the acrobats, the jugglers, the dancers and the ringmaster…in fact we loved it all!
A few of the acts involved audience participation which made them even more entertaining.
I was very impressed with our server who was also a dancer in the show, flipping easily from refilling our drinks to dancing on the stage.
Dinner was burgers with chips. I had a vegetarian burger which was surprisingly nice. The kids had hotdog and chips and chicken nuggets with macaroni cheese. There were no complaints from the children. The only slight negative of the evening for me was dessert which was funnel cake. It tasted a bit like tough donut and was very dry by itself, but the mains were huge so I was full anyway and dessert came out at the same time as the distractingly brilliant finale!
The finale brought the whole cast together with dancing, Magic, acrobatics, jugglers and more laughs!
Taking a child with an ASD to The Cirque Magique?
My son loved the show! He put his fingers in his ears a few times but he found the clowns very funny.
There is loud music throughout the show.
The lights are dimmed.
There is an act where a giant balloon is blown up and bursts.
Kids meal choices are burger, hot dog or chicken nuggets.
You may need to share a table with another party.
